Have you ever felt like a special moment or occasion is “just another day”? We are here to tell you right now to STOP. It is not just another day to you and that is OKAY. Acknowledge, celebrate, take the time for those moments.

Why To Celebrate Special Moments 

Think about what matters the most in life at the end of the day. High on that list are those moments when you took the time to make the memories. Keep it rolling. Too often we are losing people in our lives from accidents to cancer to moves. Cherish that anniversary or birthday instead, and know that it is GOOD for your mental health.

Often I am called the “glue” inside my friend network. Why is that? Because even if it is my birthday, I will make a point of texting friends to go help me celebrate. Whether it be a last minute birthday lunch or a Girls Night, what happens is that often I am actually thanked for spurring the time together. Everyone is so busy, that no one means to forget a special occasion – it’s just that Life Is Happening, however with one simple text or call… You might be surprised how quickly you just made someone else’s day.

After a beautiful meal with friends or on a double date, who pays or how to pay the bill is never a comfortable situation. Here we are to help with easy tips.

How To Easily Split Bills

Before entering the restaurant, think about who will be at the meal, their spending habits… This will set you up for success as soon as you walk in the door.

1. When being walked to the table, attempt to be near your server or let whomever is sitting you… Whisper quietly, “Please plan to split the bill”.
2. After the server introduces, quickly interject and advise that the bill will be split and how. It is perfectly okay to do so as that way your last memory of the night will not be over “who pays what”.
3. Once having ordered your first drink, then advise the server what is on “Your Tab”. Simple Comments go a long way, avoiding ending the night with uncomfortable moments.

Who is ready for Spring Break? We’ve never been on a “Spring Break”, so count yourselves lucky! Ours were always spent home helping on the ranch as it’s calving season. HOWEVER for those traveling this year – Know This!

Spring Break: 3 Tips To Know

1. Carry-on Luggage: Pack light. Pack smart. Spring Break is never that long of a trip, keep it simple and do not check luggage to ensure you are ready when you land!
2.  Weather: Stay vigilant on the weather where you are traveling. Encourage adding that location to your phone’s weather app and then plan to pack accordingly.
3. Update Apps: Before packing, departing, verify that popular apps such as Uber, Lyft or thinking airlines all are updated on your phone and have the correct credit card. Be prepared with the tools that you need to make it a smooth, relaxing vacation!
