Who is Rebecca ‘BEC’ Wanner?

Rebecca ‘BEC’ Wanner and the outdoors have been hand and hand from the beginning. The oldest child and only girl, was raised on her family’s large cattle ranch, the Knife River Ranch near Golden Valley in North Dakota, where Rebecca and family worked together training their own horses and BEC learned to cowboy with the best.

Her father was a hunting guide and outfitter for many years to make ends meet, inviting guests from around the world to their ranch in which Rebecca worked alongside too.

Rebecca Wanner aka BEC learned the importance of partaking in these “off the beaten path” experiences that initiate conversations encouraging knowledge sharing resulting with her becoming a strong advocate for both Agriculture and Conservation. She is well versed in both areas, including having an extensive professional education in the agriculture sector and having been published.

What is the meaning behind ‘Catch BEC if you can!’?

If you know BEC, you know she NEVER stops going. She is always on to the next adventure – just around the bend! BEC’s brothers coined this term because they never knew where she was going to be or when she was going to stop by. BEC is always ready to go on a adventure with you!

BEC is a Cancer Survivor

Rebecca Wanner – BEC was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago, but she didn’t let that slow her down. YES – she stayed in the house more. YES – she was a frequent hospital visitor. But she still encouraged those around her to find their adventure around the bend with her radio show, The Bend Show!
